About the Role:

We are seeking an Equity Research Analyst with experience covering the Chemicals sector as part of the research team at a leading Asset Management Company (AMC). The role involves conducting fundamental research, financial analysis, and generating investment recommendations to support portfolio decisions. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of the chemicals industry, including specialty chemicals, agrochemicals, and commodity chemicals, along with the ability to identify emerging investment opportunities and sector trends.

Key Responsibilities:

● Track and analyze listed companies in the Chemicals sector.

● Build and maintain financial and valuation models.

● Prepare research reports, earnings updates, and investment notes.

● Monitor industry trends, company developments, and regulatory changes.

● Interact with company management teams, industry experts, and channel participants.

● Present investment ideas and recommendations to the investment team.

● Support portfolio managers with timely insights and sector updates.

Qualification & Experience:

● MBA (Finance), CA, CFA, or equivalent qualification.

● Minimum 3 years of equity research experience covering the Chemicals sector within an AMC research team.

● Strong financial modelling, valuation, and fundamental research skills.

● Sound understanding of the Indian Chemicals industry and key market drivers.

● Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.

● Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
